Marin Headlands is a spectacular place. If you prefer untouched nature, I'd suggest you take the little one way road from the top of the Headlands toward Bonita Lighthouse. This view is my absolute favorite. With a bit of luck you will even see whales and sea lions playing by the waterfront.
